Resources for Aotearoa New Zealand Age friendly Network

Network resources

To support Network members with their Age friendly work, we have developed some resources to help you.

Age friendly Cities and Communities Questionnaire (AFCCQ)

The AFCCQ is a survey specifically designed to help members complete an age friendly baseline assessment. A guide to running it is available to download below.

Before you start, you will need to contact our Age friendly Programme Lead at ofs@msd.govt.nz to arrange for the initial analysis of the results with the Hague University.

The guide to running the Age friendly Cities and Communities Questionnaire (AFCCQ) survey can be accessed here.

Age friendly branding

Age friendly branding including the logo and icons is available for Network members to use in your age friendly work.

Download the branding guidelines.

Age friendly Environment ECHO training

The International Federation of Ageing has given permission for us to share their 5-part age friendly training YouTube videos. These were recorded as part of live training sessions in late 2024. The five videos are based on an introduction to age friendly and the 4-step process described in the Age friendly toolkit.

Session 1 The Age friendly Journey: An Introduction (14 mins)

Session 2 Engage and understand (16 mins)

Session 3 Plan strategically (17 mins)

Session 4 Act and implement (18 mins)

Session 5 Monitoring and evaluation (19 mins)
